Lovely, new-fashioned room with a shower, fab cooking facilities, for instance, incredible location. Amicable and fairly quiet staff and owner. Setting near the main road network, and dual carriageway: D

Warm welcome, real value for money. Free parking, great kitchenware, and dining area. Close to the A12, and laundry facilities available upon request. Norwich Airport was only 35km away.
Just what I needed, a moldy loaf of bread in the cupboard. Perfect touch.

The location was indeed magnificent, near to the main road network as well as Southwold. Also, it was based in the middle of the city.

Barn Owl Lodge was a great value for the money, with a clean and modern room that had a lot of attention to detail in the interior decor. The location was nice, and it was a pleasant surprise to wake up to the dogs in the morning. The staff, especially John, the owner, were friendly and helpful, making sure we knew how to use everything in the kitchen and the water system.
The food for breakfast could be improved with a larger duvet cover that fully covers the bed. But, no worries, as it didn't cause us any major inconvenience.

The lodge was absolutely amazing! It had a modern and spacious design that blew my mind. The bed was comfortable and clean, and the internet was super fast. The kitchen was jaw-dropping with its abundance of cupboard space and easy-to-use hob/oven. The bathroom was surprisingly large and the shower was a breeze to use. The free and spacious parking was a great perk, and the picnic tables and chairs outside were perfect for enjoying the nice weather. The owner was incredibly welcoming and explained all the features of the property, which was high-tech and modern yet still had a traditional barn feel. It was a lovely and flexible self-catering experience. Despite it being December, the lodge was very comfortable, although it did get a bit chilly in the mornings. I highly recommend this place for an absolutely mind-blowing stay!
